Christine Moss, a housewife and mother of two daughters, grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. Prior to becoming a full-time housewife and mother she had worked in the retail, risk management and insurance fields. While she treasured the opportunity to raise her daughters full-time, she found that she missed her "former career" and was amazed at how demanding her new bosses (her daughters) could be. She found the challenge of picking up behind two beautiful little girls under 3 years old particularly challenging and frustrating. She scoured stores, catalogs and the internet for products that made her job and day easier.
When she couldn't find a solution to prevent the "accidental" spills associated with the "snacking" habit of her daughters, she took it upon herself to solve the problem. The solution resulted in now what is known as the "Snack-Trap.” Based on the success of her initial idea she added additional products and launched the Made For Mom brand of products in 2006.
In 2006, Moss opened a Made For Mom retail store in her community of Auburn Hills, Michigan. In addition to carrying her own products the stores specializes in carrying other Smart & Savvy parenting solutions handpicked by Moss for their function, quality, and price.
