It's that time of year again -- the season of industry trade shows -- and none is better than the annual Toy Fair, held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. Each year retailers get to walk through the long, long Javits aisles as hundreds of toy makers, game makers, costume makers, and various other random vendors showcase their new wares. It's a ball! You see everything under the sun -- the good, the bad, and the hideous. Here are a few images from this year's adventures:

Plan Toys new Drag Racer. Look for this later in the year. We're very excited!

Um, what the heck is that?

It wouldn't be the Toy Fair without oversized versions of toys.

And giant characters. In this case, a 6-foot Ugly Doll.

And finally there's Thumbelina, the smallest horse in the world. She's a miniature, and a dwarf even in that category, making her one-of-a-kind. We wanted to steal her! What a sweetheart.
